Welcome to my Director of Special Education Website Hamline University 2010

Pursuing and achieving administrative licensure in the area of Special Education is both a personal and professional commitment to the students, staff and families I serve as an educator. This portfolio illustrates the leadership journey I have begun as I have worked within Special School District #6 and the greater community of education to expand my knowledge and experience in all areas of the special education director competencies.  Individual competency reflections, artifacts, fieldwork hour evidence, and letters of recommendation demonstrate achieved requirements for licensure. More importantly however, the work completed and opportunities gained has provided me with a base breadth of experiences necessary to confidently move into an administrative role that ultimately helps me to support a learning community that promotes student achievement and success.
